What do I get to go snowboarding?
Uhm, like thermal pants under my snowpants? Cotton heard wrong? Uhm, I have this jacket and Hollister 100% Nylon inside and out so it is waterproof, you will do? I'll wear a thermal underneath. Cotton. I'll zip the snow does not. Would that good? Wenk Thanks for the heads up. Mm, yes, I am new to riding. Uhm, what else? Yes, I have everything that you have suggested. Yay I'm excited.
You'll need a base layer that wicks moisture (sweat) from your body, allowing you to stay dry and warm. If you go snowboarding soon, I suggest you go to a snowboard shop and buy a top and bottom base layer of the store. Do not forget the socks and snowboarders do the same. There are two basic types of layers, light weight and weight medium. Like Dylan T. said, do not know about his jacket as if I were you, I'd buy a mid-tier basis weight just to be on the safe side. As for Hollister, I know nothing of them implies the snowboard manufacturing. So you just might want to make some additional purchases and look for in a jacket and pants that are specifically for snowboarding. You will need good gloves, goggles and I am an advocate of helmets. Look for things that have the Gore-Tex label, and a large number of breathability and waterproofing, (Ie, 5,000 and 10,000). 10,000 is better. Its nice look cute on the slopes, but it sucks when the clothes are not cut. Buy snowboard made by a snowboard company. Good luck!
