The World Golf Ranking â € "defective?
Is it the World Golf Ranking is flawed in how they rank the best golfers in the world. Official World Golf Rankings the player's performance using a two-year period of time to decide how a golfer today ranks with his peers. This time, a ranking of golfers today is not only based on 2009 performance, but performance in 2008 well. In fact, at this point in the year's performance ⠀ "player in the final of the 2007 golf season will also have effect on the current classification.
And this should be fair? Iâ € Â ™ m not a hundred percent sure, but I do believe that golf is the only major sport to rank the participants in this way.

Sergio Garcia has played in 17 events so far in 2009. The last month or so, Sergio seems to have put together a little with a 4th place in the Wyndham and a T10 at the U.S. Open. But thatâ € ™ s about it. This year, Sergio has passed cut three times. His best result is a top five finish is fourth. are fourth, T10, T14, and two T22. Sergio Garcia is an example of a golfer whose current classification big day is based on performance in 2008, where he won once, had three second place finishes and six top 10s.
