The annual migration of wildebeests in the Masai Mara and Serengeti game reserves wildlife is the most spectacular show in the world. Each year, between August and November, approximately 2 million wildebeests and zebras move in search of better pastures and water that the change of seasons.
Well the timing of migration varies, the best time to take a look at the novel is between June and August when the wildebeest congregate in preparation to cross the famous Grumeti River. Several predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and a large number of carnivores can be seen hanging around the area waiting for a chance to attack the weakest prey.
The wildebeest make their arrival INA Mara between August and September, but sometimes arrive in July. The animals remain in the park between October and November, before returning gradually to Serengeti. This usually occurs between December and January.

There are several airline companies offering scheduled flights daily from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to the Mara, 45 flights minute.
