Three pairs of eyes turns back and forth movement as sweat off accounts the eyebrows above them. The three men nervous glance back to the other, waiting for someone to make that fateful first move. Finally, weapons drawn. Angel Eyes falls to the ground. Tuco tries to fire but his gun is unloaded. This scene is from the end of Sergio Leone's masterpiece The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. It is a clear triumph of the Western genre. You may think that was filmed in Old Tucson or maybe just a short drive from Hollywood. But this scene was filmed classic just north of Madrid, Spain. In fact, Sierra and the entire trilogy was shot Clint Eastwood dollars with Spain standing in the southwestern United States.

Hollywood's fascination with the landscapes and Spanish architecture has a rich history. From classics like the shots used in the picturesque Leone Museum Guggenheim Bilbao at the opening scenes of James Bond film The World is Not Enough, the outlook in Spain - either by the average American unfamiliarity with or for its beauty - have served as a backdrop for countless films. And now Hollywood stars are planting roots in Spanish soil.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones spent their summers with their children in Mallorca, the largest island off the coast of Spain, like Claudia Schiffer. More oriented famous families as the Douglas family living in the north coast, while the south coast offers a glorious night life and many resources that cater to the young and adventurous. Angelina and Brad Pitt Jolie is reportedly considering a Spanish residence, although if you are thinking of Bilbao last resort or somewhere a little more quiet yet not been determined. Maybe I'll pick someplace near Barcelona or Madrid, where the festivities of World Refugee Day is celebrated often.

Coast Sun, where the climate is nearly perfect year all year, is famous for more than forty scenic golf courses. Spain offers Hollywood visitors a diverse mix of recreation, good weather and fascinating culture. The country has attracted celebrities both its northern and southern shores, as well as many of its islands, and the stars are an ideal setting for film and domestic work as well. From Sienna Miller sunbathing on the shores of Ibiza to shoot Woody Allen of future work entitled Vicky Cristina Barcelona - which is a love letter on the type of the fabled city - modern film stars can not seem to get enough of Spain.
