is a burst eardrum?

The other day I noticed the sound in the left ear seemed muffled. I thought it might be clogged or something and kill me. Tips Q and I had not, he uses a paper clip and just put a towel paper around it (stupid I know but could not control the sound) and then, as I have completely lost their hearing. It is very annoying and madness has appealed. I did finally some q tips and thinking it was dull, but there was nothing. My ear was clean ... I could have broken the eardrum with the paper clip and paper towels .. although it was stupid? No pain really only cushioning and called crazy. In case of failure, what can I do to do better and how long will it take?

See an otolaryngologist (ENT). It is possible that the perforated eardrum, but it would probably suffered severe pain if that was the case. It is more likely to: a) you have an infection of the middle ear with fluid accumulation behind the eardrum, causing snoring and Rumble, or b) a block of wax. The fact that his hearing was "clean" when Q-Tip set does not mean it no wax on the channel. Please do not use Q-tips. If you need to remove the wax, go to an ENT. I lost count of many patients that I saw his eardrum with a Q-Tip, a pencil or other sharp object.
