Tampa Bay

How sad that less than 15,000 people showed up in Tampa Bay?
Thurs Friday night, his team is first, playing another first team, and can not even draw 15,000 spectators? I realize Tampa Bay has many fun things to do, but that is terribly pathetic to me. What better baseball rays move to another city to appreciate them more? If you simply eliminate them all together? Or it simply is, and I hope that at some point, people start to really care?
A number of factors here. The team has always sucked and never developed a following. Even now, who are competitive will take some time to sink in the area consists mainly of transplants from other areas, so most people who come to live here and encourage other team and like the spokes always stank, do not care to change sides. The stadium was built in the wrong area. Been built in St. Petersburg, not Tampa. St. Pete is full of elderly and retired gay men, or go to many baseball games. The Rays get coverage in the newspapers and TV / Radio has always been terrible. This year, with the success that is changing. But history of the game stuck on page 3 or 4, or sports section. Spring and Summer Bucs practices get much press.
