Studio Stainless

How bad it is if I put 60 W bulbs with 40 watt lamps?
I have a lamp in a very small studio apt. I enough room for a floor lamp. It took 5 ampoules within maximum of 40 watts each. It has shades of stainless steel lamp estate simply do not emit not enough light. Is there a risk of fire to 60-watt bulbs in it? I can not put a ReWire light, because I rent. And it can deepen the roof, either because is reinforced concrete. Thus, the runway lights were out.
60watts bulbs x 5 = 300watts divided by 120volt bulbs 2.5 amps 40WATT = x 5 = 200watts divided by 120volt = 1.67 amps The device manufacturer recommends a low-power bulb for security reasons. Personally, I think that killing sometimes added security. While the circuit can handle, you'll probably be OK, but it's your call.
