Size Large

Is there anyway to make a large hard drive to collect some of the SATA HDD smaller?
I like having a big unit Storage size. But the 1 TB hard drives are quite expensive. If I can bring some much less expensive SATA / PATA hard drives of lower capacity in one location and So a kind of system to identify them as a hard drive with a USB connection to my current system, which would serve my purpose well. Can anyone help me?
Use a hard drive of your operating system and convert the other on a volume using the utility disk management in computer management console. To enter, right click on My Computer and click manage. In Disk Management, right click on a non-system disk and select "create volume." Then in the wizard to create a RAID-5, choose the type of volume. With a RAID-5, all hard drives are considered as one plus the volumes used to store redundancy information and data stored on other volumes. If your details each time are corrupt you can use this information to reconstruct the data redundancy.
