Ping Putter

In writing this article I just had 70 and I can honestly say that my putting has never been better. I am generally recognized pole of the iron head is a custom fit the game design improvement.
I've always been blessed with the hand coordination eye and the ability to visualize creatively. During my days of golf over Young was a very good stick and, indeed, remained until my early fifties. Until then, less convenient because of less time for golf and a file will not tolerate that for long examined had begun to take its toll on the findings of my game and therefore confidence. I started getting more fluent in three
I put that grew all the problems that lack of confidence in making three putts fifty-seven feet long. I was so "handsy" a suitcase full of "spasms" should be just around the corner. So I decided that efforts to improve was justified.
First got a stick with a long face and facing long lines to return to ensure it was properly align the putter face perpendicular in my line. And I meant was that the face balanced putter. Secondly, I changed my game up so that my eyes were directly on or just inside the balloon. Thirdly, I have received, read and began to apply the concepts of "Putting Out Of Your Mind "by Dr. Bob Rotella. to be a putter positive.
All previous steps are combined to help my putting final improve, but I was not totally comfortable in competitive situations in the three putts and fifty-seven minutes on foot. My nerves were too difficult to control when the "taste for competition" began to sink.
As an engineer, because includes the principle of the pendulum was interested in the concept of a long pole. After several months of experimentation, I could get a configuration I liked and what my child getting better. My test was an indicator of plastic pipes of 2 inches in diameter that has been created on a piece of green cloth used for a test in my garage.
With a standard putter length of four feet away, I could always rolled five ten balls into the mouth of the pipe I began my efforts to improve my start. After the three steps above, I have rolled consistently seven of ten bullets in the opening of the pipe using conventional long stick. With the long putter, I could always take nine out of ten and a personal record of 32 straight.
The most important benefit the long putter has been softening my putt putt at all, especially those in the range of three fifty-seven feet.
Just the inertia of the putter longer difficult to move quickly. With my confidence restored in the short putts, there was less pressure to get every long putt in one or two feet of the hole.
Over there are two ways to use the long putter stroke:
Method One-Rock the Shoulders
The first method (not recommended) retains relatively fixed arms and hands and shoulders just rocks back and forth on the finish line.
Method two Do not Rock The Shoulders
The second method, I recommend you NOT Rock no shoulders, but it is the target of the club with thumb and forefinger of his left hand with his left wrist braced against the center chest / upper chest. Then the right hand / right hand retrieve and push the putter through a straight line allows maximum flow rate of the clock with a minimum of moving parts of the body. The right hand holds the bottom Putter Grip in the V between thumb and forefinger instead of wrapping his fingers around the handle. This allows minimize any tendency to twist the putter face during the race. The second method produces significantly better results for me.
The first month or both seemed to judge the distance is a problem with the long stick. However, once I focused on keeping your head still during the time post and does not swing his shoulders, then my contact in the long putts really improved since he had recently been used for a standard length putter. And, as I learned to focus on stroking through the ball instead of hitting the ball after my remote for improvement.
Finally, the position needed to use a longer pole vertical, it is easier to see the "line" for the hole and became more consistent in reading the greens. The ability to practice for long periods of time without hurting my back also an added advantage.
After three months working with the long putter, I was back to being a good putter.
