If you plan to move the table to make room, then you want a ping pong table that can be folded and included with rollers and brakes. This will make it easier for to store your table tennis or make more room in your home when the table is not in use.
The thickness of the table is very important as it can affect the bounce of the ball. Basically, the thickness of the recommended is 25 mm or one inch. If you compete in official tournaments often, you may want to get the table of 25 mm ping-pong thickness as this type of table is commonly used in the competitions.
The legs of the table tennis are also very important. Make sure that is sufficiently strong that it can withstand years of punishment. Look for one with leg levelers and this can be very useful in leveling the table when you are playing on uneven ground.
The brand is not as important. But if you are a serious tennis player, you may want to go for well known brands that are commonly used in tournaments.
Finally, you may want to find a table that is level. Look for any deformation or bending eyeing at the table. In addition the surface should be smooth. These things can greatly affect how the ball bounces. uneven bounces can be very frustrating.
These are things you need to know about table tennis. By knowing what to look for, you will be able to know which table is best for you. Always remember that expensive is not always the way follow. Look for what you need and not what you want.
