Multi Function

I heard that the Belkin print server will not work with multifunction printers, the mines of the hp2575?

I would appreciate any help, I am a technology not a woman trying desperately to set up a wireless network, and I work on printing.I Wireless read in a forum such as print servers do not work with Belkin printers all in one which seems hard to believe.

You can not get all functions of the network multi-function, but must be able to print that way. The printer uses a TCP / IP instead of a USB or parallel port. Add the software as you normally would, with the printer connected to your computer for local installation. Once all software is installed and the printer is running, connect the printer to print server and configure the port. You will get an IP address of your print server. Note that number and go to the printer on the computer that is installed. Open the properties and go to the Ports tab. Click Add Port. In the next screen click on Standard TCP / IP Port. Click Add Port ... button. Click Next. Enter the address IP printer in the Printer Name or IP Address. Click Next and select Generic Network Card. Click Next and Finish. Then close the Port box. In printing the following port (s) to select the port you just added. Try printing a test page. If all goes well, you should print correctly. Hope this helps. Click Next and then Finish. The next thing you going to do is find the type of printer and click Have Disk and browse to the Drivers folder in the file you unzipped earlier. Select the printer and finish the wizard. Repeat this procedure on any other team to connect to the network. If you have a unity movement jump the driver folder to the ease of finding drivers.
