Does Mac OS X comes with software such as MS Paint?
I recently bought a new MacBook after a user PC for a long time. I looked through most programs, but do not see really what I wanted. I do not need anything that high technology as Photoshop, just something similar to MS Paint.
Hi Katy, I fear that Apple has a drawing program easier. Most consumers level Mac comes with AppleWorks, which is a set of programs, a sort of Microsoft Office. However, they have not done that in awhile. I suppose most people have their own ideas of what they want. I recommend downloading GraphicsConverter Thorsten Lemke's. Http: / / www.lemkesoft.com/xd/public/content/index._c2lkPWdjLWVu_.html This was an excellent program for Mac for years. It's kind of a poor man's Photoshop. What matters, handles and stores it in almost any graphic format that is there. GraphicsConverter comes on PowerPC and Universal (Intel MacBook) versions. This is a shareware, but the demo is in perfect condition use. You can also go to VersionTracker and search for other graphics programs out there. Check it out here: http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/ Good luck to you in your search. - Rick
