I remember the cricket on TV as a child and remember that I loved hearing the theme music played cricket at the beginning of each match. It was then when I became hooked on cricket, but it took me a long time to get the hang of it, because it is so complex.

To aid the new Viewers who have distilled my knowledge of cricket to give a basic summary of the game and how to play:

A Basic Guide to Cricket

Cricket is a game of ball, bat and played by two teams of eleven players. There are certain forms of gambling, but the basic principles are the same in all formats. The cricket matches can last several days, or can be played in an afternoon. For example, a "Test Match "is scheduled to play five days, while a match" Twenty20 "will be completed within hours.

The traditional game Cricket is played over two "entries. Each team has a chance to bat twice and washed twice - not always follow that to happen because the team that bats second plate, in theory, the other team scoring twice and running enough "to win the game again without blinking.

The cricket bat is a piece of wood (usually willow) approximately 4.25 inches wide and 38 inches long with a handle at the top splice.

The cricket ball is a hard cap and chain of the building envelope in thick leather with a central line appears. The size and hardness are similar a baseball.

The game is played in a field generally oval and measure anywhere between 90 and 150 meters in diameter, and the center will be the ground. The stage is a rectangular strip of land with a hardened surface of short grass, 20 feet long. At each end of pitch three straight wooden stem "(round poles 1 inch diameter) around the thigh, two bonds with wooden sleepers called" perched on top between strains. This structure is known as the window.

It is the work of the dough to protect the rim and score "runs" -- Y is the work of the bowlers to dismiss the dough through a variety of ways, the more it is clear that is to reach the wicket with the ball bonds.

Before the game starts tossing a coin to decide the order of play. The team that wins the draw to decide to stick to first or the first field.

The team must align the eleven players currently on the ground, while the staff team with two players. The rest of the team Batting remain outside the camp while waiting their turn at bat.

The side locating strategically align players around the field to prevent points marked by the stick side. A player is Fielding and wicket keeper is behind the window to catch the ball when throwing beyond the dough. The guard stops webbed and padded gloves and chaps and a helmet.

Fielding side usually have a guard ATM, but can have many players can each take a turn in a bowl.

The player will sign and deliver the ball (with excessive arm action) of the height 50 to 90 mph. The fungus is the goal of hitting the stumps or coaxial in the batter hits the ball a gardener to capture. If the window is beaten by the ball or the ball is caught by a fielder (without touching the ground), then the batter is "out" is - has been revoked and replaced by the batter Next on the team.

Each player will have a sequence of 6 balls known as "high" before being rested, while a another bowler from the one on the other end of the court.

The batter in front of the player is "on strike" and the other in the pulp end of the playground is "not forward."

Drummer Score runs by hitting the ball after it has been issued by the fungus and running between the wickets, as many times as you can before the next Fielding can pick up the ball and return return to center.

If, while rappers run between the wickets, managing commissioning to strike the wicket with the ball before the batter has reached the "ride" (a line painted on the ground just before the window), the batter is "out" (dismissed).

Batter may also accumulate 'Run' hit the ball to the boundary of the domain. The limit is usually marked by a continuous line or a rope around the circumference. If the ball reached the limit touching the ground drummer scores four points without having to run between the wickets. If the ball is struck by the boundary without touching the ground pulp will score six points, again without the need for a physical.

The bowling team aims to dismiss ten batters while assuming it is at least possible. The batter can eleventh BAT alone, if the entries ends with the loss of pulp eleventh.

The score of the team at bat is proposed Condition of runs as possible before ten batsmen are dismissed.

There is more to this game that I could not cover in this brief explanation, but essentially winning the team race.

I hope this explanation considered useful.
