Two large Fatherâ € ™ s Day gifts for divorced dads

The first is the telephone service Vidtel. Vidtel phone is finally the near future that AT & T is committed to us at the 1964 Worlds Fair. Vidtel, using broadband (cable or DSL), finally makes that promise.
Because itâ € ™ s broadband rather POTS (old telephone service), quality of image and voice are as good as any online connection via Skype or one of the many online videos chat services. The big difference however is that the connection is made by what appears to be a traditional telephone. This means that any child can answer the phone, and even dial from it, making it possible to connect without an adult to the link above.
Vidtel is a bit pricey at $ 14.95 per month for each phone (other Vidtel payment plans available). At this price, itâ € ™ s not for everyone, but in our tests, does what it promises to do: make it easier to call video, inlcuding video voice mail. For a divorced father who doesnâ € ™ t want to go through an ex-husband's guardian of all conversations with your child, this might be a good solution.

The ease of use of the system also Vidtel makes a good choice for older grandparents who are not able to use the videoconferencing equipment.
The second is the bridge etendi, available in etendi.com. BRIDGE is a website that provides a closed environment for families to communicate without fear of strangers and open email messages. The users can only bridge write, share photos, view a shared calendar and watch the video of specific PUENTE users group. This makes it perfect for children who may be too young to have your own address.
The computer screen if configured to share photos and Thereâ € ™ s even a blackboard shared you can imagine the parents can help in math homework. This is certainly not â € œideal, â € but changing situations household demand for technology solutions, never to replace the real-time father, but far better than no contact.
Key to the parents in this moment: the service is free for four or fewer users. So Dad and three children can communicate. A more comprehensive plan is available for large families and more users.
