Some of the best landscapes painted in the last century have been seen on golf courses - both renowned artists and fans alike - in some cases chosen through an interest in the sport itself, and in others, simply for the beauty in the eye of the beholder. There can be few views as breathtaking as a good system designed links golf and these photos appeal even for the less athletic among us.
An image of golf can often adorn the walls of the formal living room in a residence hall or a semi-detached family home with equal ease.
Of course, an unemployed landscape is one thing, golf pictures representing famous or even are simply unknown. When asked during a rare lull in the volume of conversation at a recent drinks party that the issue of going to find a portrait very occupying a large area on the sofa may be, the host laughed and said he had no idea who the gentleman might have been. Although images her husband's golf were generally less anonymous, had not minded that no one seemed to know who this boy, because anyone who had cultivated a mustache so fabulous proportions deserved a place in posterity!

In fact, a closer examination, one could guess the golf ball as it flew to a point about two hundred meters away from the front of the image.
At the end of the sofa was another striking element in a collection of photos framed golf that served to make this house, both beautiful and unforgettable. Called 'The Triumvirate', this beautifully mounted and framed picture shows three stars British golf Edwardian era. Clemente painted by Fowler in 1913, just before the outbreak of the First World War was to change the face of Britain for ever, shows a gentleman in knickers and knee socks, which has clearly pushed the ball just a bit of energy to an invisible spot on the left of the image. Others two men, one standing, the other sitting, are facing the same direction and now in the distant background is the clubhouse of R & A, which established his whereabouts as the Old Course at St. Andrews.
One need not have any interest in the sport for all to enjoy such wonderful pictures of golf, because they are like windows to glory the past - and yet, as in few other sports, such scenes could still be enjoyed today, on golf courses around the world, but for some differences important in fashion clothes!
As I was enjoying the picture of the latter, the hostess came to earn a little from my glass and asked me where she and her husband reached by such wonderful golf pictures like these. The guy with the mustache, he said, had been bought at auction as part of a group of sports images.
The Triumvirate was, he said, his last birthday gift to your spouse, order online, on the recommendation of a friend deserved. She had, said, been able to choose the perfect mount and frame, pay for your purchase and get the team closed before her husband had time to realize that he was not in his chair usual, so his gift was a total surprise and pleasant for him. Being very interested in the similar imaging course for my own living room, I did managed to persuade her to divulge the source of this excellent choice as a birthday gift.
