This is my first car, 2000 VW Golf 1.6 garbage. I bought second hand and when I took the yellow stick to see how much oil they have at their lowest, as shown in the book. I called the person who I sold the car and told me he had an oil change at 58k miles and auditing services near 68k Miles on the 08 Février next month. The car is 64k miles. I also asked him that the oil used and told me to use Castrol GTX magnetic and some 15 -30 LW I do not understand what he said lol btw the car is in gasoline. What should I do? Should I buy a bottle of this stuff and poor in the engine? too how? my friends told me poor only when the engine is cold .. thank you 4 All Information. Sorry I do not know what to say, but I Another question in the book which says that expires in February 08/2008 tomorrow I can go and return to again?
3000 miles is the normal amount of travel before do an oil change. It is useful if the car has traveled for a few minutes to heat the oil, but do not want to run too long, or oil ridiculously hot burning fingers by removing the drain plug. So, first things First ... takes the user manual and determine the type and the amount of oil your car will need. You should also replace the oil filter to spend at least all the oil, so you might consider choosing one of the best too. Once the oil, you need to empty the old oil Out. In the bottom of your engine oil pan (have someone who knows something about cars identify the parties who are not familiar with!) Using a wrench, remove the plug and drain oil in containers appropriate. The oil will begin to go before it has completely removed the cable, so I will probably get a little oil in you ... gloves and a shirt that does not worry too much. Once the oil flow has been reduced to a mere trickle, you can reinstall the plug. Certain that is tight, because losing one while driving can completely destroy the engine. Now it is time to replace the filter if you bought one. It is full Oil and require a filter wrench to remove. Before installing the finger, new oil new wet and apply a little joint on the top filter. Once done, find the oil plug somewhere under the hood and remove it. A funnel will prevent a catastrophe in any pouring the new oil Pour the correct amount as stated in the manual and reinstall the cover. Clean up your mess and keep your tools ... you're pretty much done. You May want to check the oil dipstick and look under the car to ensure no leakage. Drive 3000 miles and repeat. Congratulations, you are!
