Golf Hyper

What is the best way to remove the residue left in a golf club stickers?
I just bought a Callaway Hyper X driver and when I had the box of stickers (pricing, etc.) in the face, sole and shaft. When I took them off, leaving a sticky residue and grass clinging to it. How do I Get it safely without damaging my golf club? Stripper does nail polish? Is it Safe to use in the factory where steel is steel?
WD-40 works great for removing sticky residue from labels. Spray onto a cloth, not the club, and clean the waste. It works like magic. Be careful not to get the WD-40 on the neck or face the club or become very slippery due to WD-40 lubricant is a silicone. Good Luck
