Legal Help? Abusive security guard?
Very recently, I was stopped by a golf course security guard and he detained me and called the police for being on the golf course after dark. He claimed I was trespassing on private property. As it turned out, I had not committed a crime and was on public property and he had no right to detain me, as explained to me by the police.
In the course of the events, he pointed his gun at me, even after patting me down to determine that I was not armed. He refused to let me call my parents, even though I am only 16 years old. He told me that I would be shot or on the ground in handcuffs if I attempted to dial the phone - to call my parents or the police.
Can I take legal action against him? Let me make it clear - I did not commit a crime. He thought I was on private property when I was not.
I would contact a personal injury attorney and fry this self important loser.
