still cannot use acer crystal eye integrated camera on acer aspire one net book?
I am having trouble trying to use the integrated crystal eye camera on my net book, when I go to the control panel nothing shows in the scanners & cameras sections, I have checked to see if there is a program in the pc & there is, can I only use this camera when I have skype turned on, as it works then ! otherwise I am a bit stumped..
There does not appear to be a program attached to the camera,
You only really need to turn it on when you are using it to see someone else not to see yourself,so when you use a program that requires the camera it will ask you if you want to turn the camera on, As skype does.
try this if it works the camera is fine and when you need the camera turn it on (like skype).
If it is really not working you could try reinstalling the drivers from the
Acer management program.
Click on start,all programs, acer empowering technology, Acer recovery management. in there it click on reinstall applications and drivers , find the driver and reinstall. there are 2 cameras listed the one in my machine is the saying camera the other listed is a
Lite- on camera, try the saying driver first if it still does not work try the lite on.
