Learn how to find the â € ~ € ™ Interior Golf Coach
When I took my qualifications to become a coach, I remember one of the modules of the first training I was taught was effective questioning skills. It made me rethink not only the way I have presented the questions to other people, but also the way I asked.
One must ask the right question creates curiosity potentially open the doors in the mind you may have locked, closed or forgotten.
Curiosity is not curious, but can lead to unexpected discoveries really the person you the question is addressing.
How I can implement this?
Curiosity begins with a question. If I had to say now "... me wonder 'what would happen? Your mind automatically go in search of an answer with the rest of the question. As humans we are predisposed to fetch as soon as the answer to a question. Being curious changes the direction of the conversation or our thoughts and often takes a path of discovery.
Try this exercise:
Let me give an example of a question that just collects information and creates a curiosity.
For example, if I were ask "What golf training options were available to you at this time?" How would your answer differ if you ask "What I would like to know that you do not know right now?
In the first example we went for an accurate evaluation of golf lessons available and you can respond "Maybe a lesson would get better."
But if I had to answer the second question referring idea that one might begin to look more deeply and say, "I wish I knew how to be less anxious when you play a four-foot putt to win the hole."
Can you see this could result in an alternative solution to have a lesson to normal, as the problem here suggests a problem of mind and not a matter of play.
From the viewpoint of a curious coaching allows the coach to leave the function of being an "expert" and instead of allowing the customer to find answers within themselves.
Everyone has the right answers within themselves. When you ask the right questions the effect of the answers will be very energizing, since the response worked. Curiosity allows customers to find their own answers.
Effective learning is also hard, because you're finding answers within you.
How many times has a friend or relative gave good advice, but have not been! This is because they have not come up with the solution yourself. Indeed likely to change their behavior and act on advice if you have found the answer in the first place.
Many of you have read the tips and tools that come my caddy of confidence "of the program. The reason was called because I wanted to let you be your own best friend and to find their 'inner caddy. You can talk to yourself without being crazy!
Learn to find domestic coach starts with really ask effective questions, questions that will help to become a more confident golfer.
In my series of CD each topic begins with awareness because without this how is going to make changes that will help to become a better golfer?
Did you ever stop and ask yourself why you do things you do? Usually this is because it is the way have always done.
Learning to ask yourself effectively is one of the most powerful tools you can use to achieve the results you are looking inside and outside golf course. Knowing that the answers are inside and have the means to find them is a big step towards fun playing golf and confidence.
I dating a couple of questions to get started on this topic that really will help you more anxious moments in golf.
First, the next time feel the nerves first tee or frozen as they are about to make that putt so important, in fact, every time you hear yourself saying something negative to yourself, I to take a step back, take a breath, and ask yourself -
Question 1 - How you are feeling and thinking like this helps me to play golf the way I want? "
Of course it is going to answer - "Well, it is not!" But now you have the option as it has created awareness and allowed to stop for a moment, to do something about it.
Question 2 - "So what should I do to stop feeling that way?"
Again looking a positive and constructive response times. You may want to start your pre-shot routine again but this time ensuring that they are willing to compromise when it comes to taking the shot. What you choose to do so begins with awareness and take the time to make an effective question to help you stop thinking and feeling in a negative way.
By course you do not need to wait to question yourself as you stand on an important boost that you can use a question at any point of round when you start to think and feel negatively.
This is the beginning to start working with the "inside Caddie" within you. So good luck and enjoy trying out the questions. You must repeat this process again and again - not just try once and expect miracles. It is a tool you can use forever - within and off the golf course - and really help to empower you.
Finally I will leave you with what the coaching world called issue a 'research'. Ask yourself not just take your time to find the answer, but have fun with the answers -
