Adidas Clothing Technology Training
Adidas recently launched an innovative clothing technology by merging different fabrics with properties only in the form of a garment. This new technology is termed as "ForMotion Technology" that improves comfort and enhances performance. Clothing ForMotion are planned and designed for three main types of sports:
- Running - Here the objective is the forward movement of the body.
- Tennis - Here the objective is the upper body movement and body rotation.
- Football - Here the moving target and lower body power.
This technology helps improve athletes' movements and body rotations. Fabrics are key compression ForMotion garments of facilitating an athlete to maintain proper form and independence of movement.
For the transport of heat and moisture from the body "ClimaCool" design and manufacturing technologies have been incorporated. This technology also optimizes body temperature of an athlete and gives vent in the areas of increased body heat. The three-dimensional fabrics allow proper ventilation and air circulate near the skin, which causes the athlete's body cooler than they can on bare skin.
The garments are sculpted using a variety of technologies to "reinforce the independence of the sports movement" and "energetic support to the muscles of the body.
