Brake Shoes

Is there anyway to repair the brake pads? Do not replace only the new pads on old shoes?

I have a rare old bike with brake pads that no longer exist. I managed to remove the remains of the aged structure of the brake shoes and whether it would be possible somehow Just put new pads on old shoes. I mean it should be possible, how will they take the skates first? I was wondering if anyone knew more about the idea. Thank you!
