Is there anything I should know before deciding to buy a parrot African Gray?
If indeed there is much that you need to learn before you go out and buy your own. First make sure you know where you are getting your parrot that many of them are trafficked into the country as was previously discussed in the article. Secondly, if you have no experience whatsoever in handling parrot, I recommend starting with a bird that is much easier to manage as a parakeet, for example.
Finally African gray parrots are animals that feed of enthusiasm and attention. Too many people out there abusing the privilege of owning these magnificent creatures just so they can tell their friends that they have a parrot.
