What type of golf ball responds best on the green?
Although hard to believe, I compete in professional mini golf tournaments around the country and wondered what kind of ball that perform better in the green (golf course min lol). I think that as the balls with a lower compression (Maxfli Noodle, Volvik Crystal) but after reading about the design of golf balls, I'm not sure this is the right decision. What type of balls (compression, three-piece, two piece etc.) would help increase my performance.
hi. good question. but I think it would be a mistake for people to recommend a specific type of a golf ball for you. the factual issue is to putt your best, you need to depend on two things. feel and sound. Maxfli Noodle will feel softer and a sound thats good ... soft? and if you try any of the golf ball flight, then you will find that hard feel on impact and the noise it makes is a bit more strong. The bottom line is, golf balls all feel and sound different. and the conclusion is that every people has their preferences. Phil Mickelson, said she switched to Titleist ball Callaway because he changed his putter. his putter was not very sensitive to touch so he wanted a ball that would be a loud noise in the contact. so changing to a ball Callaway was part of many other reasons, because he was a little a bit more "firm" so my recommendation is, try all sorts of different balls. take the putting green and see what feels and sounds better. you're the only one who can determine which ball is best for you. choose the one that is based on feel and sound. good luck. :]
