Thereâ € ™ s more than just eight ball to be played at the table covered
My years of high school was devoted to an air base in Italy, and sometimes after school, I was hanging out at the Community Center to play pool with some of the GIA € ™ s. I thought a player quite good because from time to time is a fluke, but in retrospect, I really wasn t ™ € very good at all. At the time, always played eight balls, and only that game is associated with pool tables, but have since learned many other games that are a lot of fun to play. So if you're looking for a little variety, consider some of the following games:
- Nine ball
- Three balls
- One pocket
- Bank Pool
- Snooker
Leta € ™ s look more closely at how they are played by each of these games.
Nine-ball
This game only uses the cue ball and 1 to 9 balls. The balls are placed in a diamond shape with the ball in the front and the nine balls in the center. Although the balls can be pocketed in any order, The cue ball must first contact the lowest numbered ball on the pool table. The game is won by the collapse of the 9-ball, and a game is won by winning a specific number party. When a shot is missed, the next player begins play with the cue ball in position left by the other player. If it is a foul the incoming player may place the cue ball anywhere on the table.
Three balls
When there is a lack of pool tables many, many players, this is a good game to play. Just use the white ball and three other balls. The aim is to sink all three balls in the fewest strokes. A player plays until 3 balls pocketed, all hits count. Then the next player starts trying to sink all three balls in fewer strikes. Often, this game is played in entries, consisting of three or five rounds.
One pocket
This is a two player game with each player's choice a pocket. The goal is to shoot most of the balls (8) in his pocket. Fouls happen if you shoot the ball into the wrong pocket billiard tables. This game often takes more strategy than other games of pool.
Bank pool
This game can play either full rack (15 balls) for a long game, or with nine balls (recently more popular) for a shorter game. You have to put a ball bank off the side. The vaccine is called usually. The first player to the bench and sink eight balls is the winner (in the shorter game, five balls must be pocketed).
Snooker
Snooker can be played on medium-sized billiard tables. The game requires 15 red balls, six balls of different colors (1 each of yellow [2], green [3], Brown [4], blue [5], pink [6] and black [7]) and a white ball. Each red ball is worth 1 point, the color balls are then a value of 2 to 7 points, as the label above. The 15 red accumulated in the traditional triangle at the beginning of the game. Each colored dot is a point in the table. The object of the game is to score more points. First they have to put a red ball in his pocket, and then any colored ball (remember that the point value of each ball is important). The red ball stays in the pocket, but any color ball is replaced to its original starting point on the table after it sank. You receive points for each ball is sinking. Lacking a shot, then turn to the other players. Once all the red balls are gone, the color ball must then be sunk in numerical order. The player with the most points wins. Points can also be obtained through faults (such as deepening of the balls out of order - and two red in a row).
These are most of the officers of the games played on billiard tables, although they all have more detailed rules, and many of them offer variations. So the next time you're looking for something to do, head down to your local pool hall, where they have a lot of pool tables, and try something new when playing pool with friends.
